Progaplant produces trees and shrubs, bamboo and seasonal plants, kiwi and hardy kiwi.

This Galician producer comprises 5 nurseries: Agritomsa, Río Verde, Kiwi Plant, As Vaqueiras and Cultivos Ornamentales del Miño.

The objective of Prograplant is to produce plants exploiting the special conditions of the region, with an emphasis on innovation. As a result, we obtain higher quality, healthier plants, and new species and varieties are introduced into the market.

Thanks to the exceptional climatic conditions of the Baixo Miño region, with mild temperatures, abundant rainfall and a high number of hours of sunshine throughout the year, this is an exceptional place for the production of ornamental plants and kiwi.

Recently, Progaplant has acquired a 500.000 m2 farm in Palmela (Portugal) called Quinta da Lagoa.
